direction until Pendleton, where it then heads west, following the
Columbia River.

Route 20 crosses the entire state in an east and west direction. US
Route 20 is a good way for regional drivers to make pickups and
deliveries. US Route 20 crosses the entire United States, beginning in
Newport, Oregon and ending in Boston, Massachusetts.

Route 140 is in the south-central area of the state. It is the best way
to get from Klamath Falls, Oregon to northern California.

Route 97is a north and south highway that begins near The Dalles, in
northern Oregon, and continues south to Klamath Falls. It connects Bend
